Harold A. Chasse, 88, deceased on November 22, 2021 in Napa, California. He had been a member of the Yountville Home since 2001. He was born on March 1, 1933 in Madawaska, ME to Artheline and Eddy Chasse. His family owned a farm where Harold spent his early years thru high school. After he finished high school, Harold moved to Connecticut. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1953, during Korean Conflict and was discharged honorably in 1955. He spent his time in Europe, specifically Germany.
His life work was as an Accountant in the Aircraft and Power Industries. He graduated from Hartford Inst. Of Accounting. He always loved gardening and had a prolific garden in his Connecticut home. He also developed the skill of upholstering. At the home he took up biking and biked trips to the surrounding area of Napa. He studied French, enjoyed reading and traveled in his later years.
He is survived by his two daughters, Liz and Jacqueline, three siblings, Aloudia, Wilma and Gerard; and also, his former wife, Margaret, and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was buried at Veterans Home Cemetery in Yountville. Services entrusted to CONNEELY FAMILY Cremation & Funeral Services.
